Richard S. Trout
Born December 23, 1926 in Neosha Falls, Kansas, Richard "Dick" Trout died on June 23rd, 2010 at the Wyoming Medical Center following a brief illness.
He Served in Shanghai, China during World War II where he met his wife of 63 years. Dick has resided in Casper for over 64 years as an electrician and then as an electrical contractor starting at Standard Oil, Automation Electronics and then owned his own business, Rainbow Electric.
He retired several years ago, giving him more time to spend with Hilde enjoying their home and acreage along the Platt River.
He is survived by his wife Hildegard Trout, Daughter Phyllis Lansford (Gordon) of Topeka, KS; son "Rick" (Tanna) of Casper; son Robert (Linda)of Ft. Collins, CO. Seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One sister(Twila) and one brother (John) and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father John, mother Bessie, sisters Velma, Nadine and Lucille.
At his request, a private burial with military honor was held on Friday, June 25th at the Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery.
Due to his love for animals, he would be very appreciative of contributions being made to the Casper Humane Society.
