Although Rick was young, he led a full and adventurous life. He was born August 2, 1977 and he passed away of natural causes on March 7, 2024. He lived fearlessly and spontaneously. Born in Casper, he and his brother, Rob, soon learned all the crevices of Casper, Douglas, Kinnear, and Dubois, Wyoming. Many stories of the brother's shenanigans are often shared to get a good laugh.
He was a playful and rambunctious brother. A common theme that comes up when thinking of Rick, is how much he made everybody laugh. Even on your worst days he knew how to make you laugh, or bring a smile to your face. Rick enjoyed tinkering with bikes, flying his drones, and he loved helping his nephews on any projects or any activity they had. He has been defined by his niece as the fun uncle. We will always hold a spot in our hearts for him indefinitely.
Rick would give you the shirt off your back if he thought you needed it. He often helped with fixing vehicles, walking his neighbor's dogs, and he babysat his youngest nephew whenever it was needed. He celebrated often with his fellow neighbors. They were considered his family, and he'd share celebrations and bbqs with them. He was selfless and thoughtful and made life better for those around him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Nita, His grandmother, Mary Lou, his uncle Phil, and his beloved lover and best friend Crystal.
There will be a celebration of Life at His Outpouring Church on Saturday March 16, 2024 at 11:00am.
