Ralph T. Kinneberg, 85, of Casper, Wyoming, passed away on October 26, 2008, at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper, Wyoming. Ralph was born on February 8, 1923, in Comstock, North Dakota, to Randall T. and Julia (Amandson) Kinneberg. He married the love of his life, Eunice Grenier, on January 7, 1948, in Kent, Minnesota. Ralph started his career as a cook with the 3612 Quarter Master Truck Company during WWII, returned to Abercrombie, North Dakota after the war making a living as a mechanic, later relocating in 1961 to Casper, Wyoming as a carpenter until his retirement in 1981.
Ralph loved gardening, fishing, hunting, and working with wood. He always had a "great idea" on how to do things better. He was a lifetime member of the Elks 1353, 20 year member Eagles Aerie 306, lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 991, and a lifetime member of Carpenters Local Union #1564.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Eunice Kinneberg; sons Greg (wife Tamra) and Barry Kinneberg, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Carl Kinneberg of Abercrombie, ND and several nieces and nephews also of North Dakota. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Don, Elder, and Ray; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Services will be held at Newcomer Family Funeral Home on Friday, October 31, at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, October 30, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate all memorials to be made in Ralph Kinneberg's name to Central Wyoming Hospice.
