Rafelita Guerrero

Rafelita "Lee" P. Guerrero, 82, died Wednesday April 8, 2009 at her home in Casper. She was born November 24, 1926 in Costilla, NM to Manuel and Mary Archuleta. Lee was raised in Costilla until moving to Buffalo but returned to Costilla to graduate from high school in 1946. She then returned to Wyoming and Casper and married Celso "Sid" Guerrero in 1952. She will be greatly missed by her loving family, loyal friends and her loving canine companion Ricky.
Lee is survived by 4 sisters, Mabel Miller, Sara Cady , Irma Hunt and Rene Sheets all of Casper; one brother Charlie Archuleta of Casper and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Visitation will be Wednesday April 15 from 4 until the 6 PM rosary. A funeral service will be Thursday at 1 PM in Newcomer Funeral Home with burial to follow in Highland Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
