Life History:
Spent her early childhood in eastern South Dakota. Attended elementary school in Deadwood, South Dakota, and graduated high school in Edgemont, South Dakota. She married Pete J. Peterson on June 15, 1946 in Edgemont, South Dakota. Mr. Peterson died on May 3, 1978. After marriage they lived in various towns in Wyoming while Mr. Peterson worked in the oil fields. They moved to Casper in 1955. She was active in her children's school, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and church activities. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, cooking especially decorating and baking cakes.
