Penelope Anne "Penny" (Laird) Carroll born December 26, 1944 while the noon whistle was blowing, passed away May 8, 2014.

Born and raised in Worland, Wyoming on the Laird family farm, graduated from Washakie County High School in 1963. She attended the University of Wyoming for 2 years and graduated College at Tulsa University obtaining a Liberal Arts Degree in History and Political Science with a minor in Pre-Law.

After college she moved back to Wyoming where she met and married John L Carroll of Casper, Wyoming. Shortly after she had and raised two children, 1 son and 1 daughter.

In summer of 1972 she won the Wyoming State Championship Ladies Singles in trap shooting.

Her love of traveling took her through most of Europe including - England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Norway not to mention Australia and New Zealand.

She was preceeded in death by her by her father, mother, 2 brothers and her husband.

She is survived by one son, 1 daughter and 4 grandchildren.

Private Services were held.
