Peggy was born January 6, 1927 to Dolly and Ralph Lindsey in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was raised by her grandparents Florence and John Lindsey. She moved to Wichita Falls in middle school where she met Howard "Mac" McIntyre. They graduated high school and Mac went to war and Peggy went to Harden College where she studied art. After the war, she met up with Mac again. Shortly after, they married on June 25, 1947. They embarked on many endeavors, eventually owning D&M Radiator Company. As their company grew so did their family. Their son Michael was born on their 4th anniversary. Their expansion moved them from Odessa TX, through Farmington NM, Cortez CO, Moab UT, Casper WY, and Williston ND. At one time five shops were running before they settled in Casper WY. They eventually closed all shops except for Casper and retired in 1986. They spent much of their time fishing and boating, traveling, and dancing.
Peggy was a lovely, lively lady. A member of the Daughters of the Nile, Egyptians, an avid Canasta player, talented seamstress, and could play a delightful ragtime on the piano. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband "Mac" McIntyre, son Michael (Edna "Sam") McIntyre, grandchildren Tonia Anderson, Howard (Kari) McIntyre, and Leoma (Ron) Brehmer and Cindy (Jesse) Gregory, 8 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
