Glenrock resident, Peggy Lou Bussey, 59, passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, at Central Wyoming Hospice on Thursday, June 21, 2012. Peggy was born to Harvey and Margaret Muirhead on August 20, 1952, in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Peggy graduated from high school in Frisco, Colorado in 1970. She married Terry Bussey on February 14, 1971.
Peggy's lifelong passion was working with children. Beginning with Day Care, her licensed Pre-School, and then moving into grade school and on into higher grades. She especially enjoyed working in Special Education. She achieved her Early Childhood degree, as well as many certificates from Federal, State, and County levels.
Wherever Peggy lived during her lifetime, she devoted unselfishly, countless hours to local charities. She was active in numerous churches, always eager to help anyone she could. She was a member of Southern Baptist Church of Glenrock.
Peggy is survived by her husband Terry; Sons, Brent and wife, Allison, Jason and wife Linda, Nathan and wife Jenny. Grandchildren, Chance, Kayla, Tio, Nathan Jr., and Allie; One great grandson, Zandee. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary and Christina, two brothers, Danny and Mike, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for memorials to be made directly to Central Wyoming Hospice, 319 S. Wilson St. Casper, WY 82601.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Glenrock Middle School Auditorium. Immediately following the service, there will be a gathering for family and friends at the Glenrock Senior Center.
