Life History:

Raised and educated in Chesterfield, England.

Served three years in The Royal Air Force in England during World War II.

Married John Cross September 1, 1943 , in Chesterfield, England where he was stationed with the United States Army Air Corp.

She was discharged in October, 1943, at which time she joined her husband in the united states. They lived in Custer, Montana. She received her U.S. citizenship during naturalization ceremonies in Billings, Montana, 1949. The family moved to Casper, Wyoming in 1949.

Divorced in 1967 from Mr. Cross. From this time, for the next eight years she worked as a hostess at the downtown Village Inn in Casper. It was a job she held with pride, and greatly enjoyed meeting and making new friends while employed.

She lived in Escondido, California from 1975 to 1991. During part of this time, she was employed as night manager at a retirement center.

Met Frank Bibbee at Senior Citizen dances while living in California. They were married and later divorced.

Wyoming was home once again in 1991. She missed Wyoming's four seasons while living in California

Hobbies: Loved knitting, reading romance novels, Ballroom dancing and was an avid Broncos fan.
