CASPER -- Funeral services for Pauline R. Leslie, 81, will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007, at 10 a.m., at the Newcomer Family Funeral Home in Casper with Eldon Raye officiating. Burial will take place in the Wyoming Memorial Gardens in Casper.
She died July 2, 2007 at the Wyoming Medical Center.
Born on October 15, 1925 in Chariton, Iowa, she was the daughter of Joe W. Stoneking and Margaret Kumm.
She came to Wyoming with her parents from Iowa and they lived on area ranches in Wheatland. She worked on the B B Brooks ranch and went to the Hat Six School.
On December 5, 1944, she married Harold Leslie. She was a homemaker and raised three sons and neighborhood kids.
She enjoyed embroidery, gardening, baking Christmas goodies, and playing bingo. She also loved to go hunting. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and anything they were involved in.
Survivors include three sons and their wives, John, Jim, and Jack Leslie of Casper; two sisters; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, and one sister.
