Patrick Michael Plenger, age 65, of Casper, passed away March 11, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. Patrick was born July 23, 1954 in Roundup, Montana to John and Hazel (Yount) Plenger. He married to his beautiful loving wife, Dorothy Burkhalter in 1993 and together started a family. He attended the University of Houston where he obtained his PhD Degree in Neuropsychology. He worked for over 20 years as a Neuropsychologist and Clinical Director at Pate Rehabilitation in Dallas, Texas. He helped rehabilitate innumerable clients, and touched many families and coworker's lives. He enjoyed running in competitions, playing guitar, singing, joking, reading, traveling and watching sports. He loved being a father participating in his son's sports, scouting events, and extracurricular activities. Patrick always had a smile on his face and made sure that others in the room did too. The only thing that outweighed his smile was his wittiness, generosity, and charisma.
Patrick was preceded in death by his loving wife of 24 years, Dorothy Plenger, and his father by choice, Harold Carrell. He is survived by his mother, Hazel Carrell, sons, Evan Patrick Plenger and Eric Michael Plenger, siblings, Connie Wagner, John Plenger, Elizabeth Vernetti, Tamie Jackson and Pamela Carrell, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association of Texas, 5830 Granite Pkwy, Plano, TX 75024 in Patrick's memory.
