Patrick A. Barnish

September 15, 1953 — December 12, 2020

Patrick A. Barnish, was born on September 15th 1953 and passed away on December 12th 2020.

Preceded in death by the love of his life Julie Ann Barnish, his mother Maxine, Father Francis, his brother Jefferey and his brother-in-law Greg. Survived by his daughters Krista and Charla, his sisters Darlene, Janine, Lynae and Cheryl, his brothers Hurk, Mike and Richard, many nieces and nephews and loved ones.

Partick was born in 1953 on the navy base in Key West Florida, but spent most of his early childhood in Virginia. The family moved to Casper, Wy in 1963 where Pat attended Dean Morgan and Natrona County High School; it was there that he met his best friend of 52 years, Harold "Hurk" Wahl. The two could often be seen sharing jokes, listening to music, and bonding over their mutual love for The Beatles. He married Julie Ann Hawley in 1983, who—ten years later— became the mother of their adopted twin daughters Krista and Charla. Julie and Pat shared a profound love for each other and their two daughters until Julie's passing in 2003. Despite the challenge of raising two daughters alone, Patrick was an incredible father who's hard work and dedication to his family was to be admired. As a skilled carpenter with many years of expertise, Pat built his family's home on Oak street in 1999, being just one of the many places his impressive craftsmanship can be seen in Casper. He had amazing taste in music, a vast knowledge of history, and was a dedicated movie aficionado.

Patrick Barnish will forever live on in spirit through the many positive traits he's passed onto his daughters— In memory through the facts and wisdom he's offered all those around him— and physically through the countless structures his hands have built around us.

He was sarcastic, witty, smart, and sometimes a little grumpy, but above all, he was dearly loved and will be sorely missed by all that knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
