Patricia Anne Kozak passed to her eternal home on March 6, 2019.
Pat was born to Clinton and Stella Ruth (Snyder) Reese on January 30, 1930 in her Aunt Emmie's home.
The depression years were difficult. She didn't know then, but she was considered poor. Pat and older brother (Robert) Bob were inseparable as children. There was loving grandmothers, one in Wyoming, the other in Ohio that helped shape their young lives. Pat married Frank Eugene Esterbrook and this union produced sons; Gerald (Maria) and Robert (Pat). They later divorced but remained friends. She met the love of her life Arthur Kozak, and Casper became her forever home. Kathleen (Richard) George, Norman (Cori) Kozak, and Kenneth (Sharon) Kozak, were born of this union. She welcomed Pamela (Grant) Anderson into her heart and family. Her children were her life. She was known as Grandmother Pat to many. She was a seamstress, outfitting herself and her children. She was a school room-mother, scout leader, and proud Trooper parent. Pat earned extra money by caring for children in her home some 20 yrs. Outside of the home Pat worked at Control Data. At age 45 she received her GED then completed several college classes. She went to work for Holiday Inn Restaurant, then Ramada Inn Café, for 10 years she was in the restaurant business. Pat was a self-taught crocheter. She learned to Tole paint and Brazilian embroidery, she made ceramics, and was on a bowling league. Pat's most cherished role was that of caretaker for her mother and later Art, the last years of their lives.
In 2015, her wonderful mind and body was ravaged by a series of strokes. Despite her hard work and the wonderful care she received at Wyoming Medical Center, Elkhorn Rehab Center and Life Care Center, her physical body was too damaged, and she was never able to return to her beloved home.
Pat will be remembered as a Godly woman that read her bible, daily. She had the virtue and values of the greatest generation. She never met a stranger. She had a sense of humor till the day she died. She has left this earthly body to be blessed with an eternal one, professing Jesus Christ as her personal Savior.
Pat was proceeded in death by her parents, brother, her beloved husband of 57 plus years, two sons in law, three brothers in law, four sisters in law.
She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two brother-in-laws, one sister-in-law.
