Patricia A. Darling, 69, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with several health problems on May 15th 2016.
She was born Patricia A. Oras on March 15th 1947 to parents Michael and Mary Oras in Youngstown, Ohio. She graduated at Woodrow Wilson High School in 1965 in Youngstown.
She was married to her eternal soulmate, the late Dennis Darling of Casper, Wy. on August 6th 1995. Patty was a coil inspector for General Electric. She worked for Luzern County prison for 2 weeks and finally as a supervisor at Brentwood Originals. Her most important job was being a mother to her two children. She was the northwestern representative for the F.I.G.H.T. Project helping families after losing a loved one on the job. She worked closely with senators and congressman from Wyoming and Washington D.C. to for new legislation on worker safety. Also she taught employers their duty and responsibility regarding their employee's safety.
She is survived by her children; daughter, Shannon P. Palato and her husband Richard of Casper, Wy., son, Richard A. Rukstalis II engaged to Brenda Thompson of Morton, Ill. She is also survived by her grandchild Anastasia Rose Palato & many friends & family members.
Viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home from 12pm to 1pm with services immediately following on Sat. May 21st 2016. She will then be laid to her final resting place at Memorial Gardens in Casper, Wy.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made out to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in her name.
