Patricia Crimm

April 2, 1957 — January 8, 2017

Patricia Crimm died January 8, 2017 at Central Wyoming Hospice. She was born April 2, 1957 to Burke and Shirley (Wilson) Austin in Casper, Wyoming, where she attended school and lived her entire life.

Patty married Kenneth Crimm in 1973 and they were blessed with four wonderful children: Kevin, Lisa, Kimberly, and Mark; who became the focus of her life to her last breath. Wherever Patty went she met people she knew and had touched in some way. Whether it was families she had helped as an aide at Mountain View School; her children's friends, who thought of her as a surrogate mom; the many young adults and their parents who came to know her from her decades as a board member, volunteer, and ardent fan of the Casper Troopers; or the patients and staff at Casper Oncology, who she came to regard as family – Patty made a difference encouraging, supporting, and comforting those around her as needed. Through the good times and the difficult, her beloved husband, Kenny, was her partner and her rock.

She is survived by her husband; four children; six grandchildren: Audrey, Jaylen, Austin, Drew, Ashley, and Elizabeth , mother; and sister, Sherri Mullinnix. She was preceded in death by her father.

Services will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home on January 11th at 2:00pm. The family would appreciate memorials to the Casper Troopers or the Casper Humane Society. Reception will follow the service at Troopers Bingo, 1801 East E Street.
