John Patrick "Pat" White passed away at the age of 66 on October 29th, 2017 at the Sheridan VA Mountain View Living Center in Sheridan, Wyoming after, a battle with brain cancer.
Pat was born July 8th, 1951, in Fremont, Nebraska, the son of John and Alma White. Pat was raised in Fremont and graduated from Bergan High School in 1969. He was drafted into the United States Army in 1971 and served in the Vietnam War, earning multiple medals and commendations. Needless to say, the war changed him forever.
After coming home from Vietnam Pat spent time in Idaho, California, and Lake Tahoe until ultimately landing in Casper in 1981 where he was close to his sister and family.
Pat loved the mountains and was a mountain man at heart. He was always working on something; Patifying anything he could get his hands on. Forget paying someone to do it, he could do it himself… sort of. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix in his mind. He also loved his Harley Davidson motorcycles, Corvette, and tinkering. Pat lived his life his own way. He loved his family and was always very proud of them and their accomplishments. If you talk to any of his friends, they will tell you he was more than stubborn, but deep down had a heart of gold.
Pat is survived by his mother, Alma White, sisters, Connie Ashba and Mary (Shane) Rock; and brother, Bob (Judy) White; nephews, Mike (Darcy) Mohr, Matt (Michele) Mohr, Kelly (Gina) Kohl, Marty (Jane) Mohr; nieces, Jill Kausch, Michelle (Patrick) Glynn, and Cassie White and multiple great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John White.
