Pandora Lee Lyman Danner, 65, of Casper, Wyoming passed away after a battle with cancer on Monday April 30th, 2018 at a family residence.
Pandora 'Pandy' was born on September 25, 1952 to Wendell Reid Lyman and JoAnn Lillian (Eckhart) Lyman in Worland, WY. She graduated from Basin High School in 1969. Her first job was sheep herding in the Upper Knollwood area of the Bighorn Mountains and was one of her fondest memories. She spent much of her early life in Yaak, Montana, where she proudly built a family cabin house. She had two sons, Travis and Kirk. She moved with her two sons to Winnemucca, Nevada to work as miner in the Florida Canyon mine. She worked here for over ten years before she moved to California to enjoy the weather and spend time with her mother. In her most recent years she moved to Casper to live with her son Kirk and be near family.
Pandora was a loving mother and a very caring soul. She was adventurous and spontaneous. She was a jokester and has a wicked sense of humor. She loved the outdoors and collecting rocks. She proudly raised her children as a hard-working single mother. She loved most spending her time with family and hanging out with her African Gray, named Stein.
Pandora is survived by her sons Kirk and Travis Danner; her sisters, Cathy Allen and Carol McKim; her brothers Jeff Lyman and Kevin Lyman; numerous nieces and nephews.
Pandora was preceded in death by her mother JoAnn Long, her father Wendell Lyman, her sister Tammy Lyman, her brother Terry Allen, and her niece Carrie Strickler.
