Olive Marie Casebolt, 74, of Casper died at Wyoming Medical Center on Friday, June 17, 2011 after a short illness.
She was born in Rice Lake, Wisconsin on September 23, 1936 to Robert E. and Eva J. Pierce. She was one of 7 children, two sisters and 4 brothers, Eunice, Rosalie, Robert, James, Raymond and Harold. In 1950 the family moved to Casper where Olive attended Natrona County High School. It was there that she met the love of her life Donald R. Casebolt. They were married June 5, 1952 and later had 2 children, Son Daniel Casebolt and Daughter Susan Casebolt. After years of being a stay at home mom Olive began working at First Interstate Bank where she retired after 17 years of service.
She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family and also enjoyed cooking and crafting. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also had a large extended family of brother in laws, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends that she loved dearly.
Preceding her death were her husband and companion Donald R. Casebolt, her mother and father, her 4 brothers and 1 sister.
She is survived by her Daughter Susan Casebolt; Son Daniel (Tamela) Casebolt, her grandchildren; Laurie (Jeff)Hallums, Carter (Katrina) Davis, Jason (Heather) Casebolt, Jamie (Jason) Galles; 6 great grandchildren; Maddox, Tanner, Hunter, Ryker, Brooklyn, Braxton, to be born near Olives Birthday-Addison and 1 sister, Rosalie.
She will be missed and thought of often by all her family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Wed. June 22nd 2:00 pm at Our Savior Lutheran Church. The Family will receive friends from 6 to 7 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens.
