Norman Stott

February 1, 1941 — December 6, 2011

Our father, brother, grandfather, and friend, Norman (Norm) Lynn Stott succumbed to a sudden illness December 6, 2011. Norm found profound joy in sharing his love for the outdoors with his children, friends and neighbors and best friend, his yellow lab Jaydee Ann. When he wasn't hunting or fishing Norm could be found in his garage making improvements on his boats, trucks, 4 wheelers, etc. He was an expert welder and craftsman. He loved to cook for his friends and neighbors and would often show up on their doorstep with his latest creation. Norman had a deep love for his son Rod and daughter Christi. Norman was preceded in death by his Mother Doris Mulford Stott, Father Cecil (Hap) Stott and his wife Joan Weimer Stott. Norman is survived by his son Rodney Stott and Wife Sheryl of Lindale Texas, daughter Christi Stott El-Meligi of Albuquerque New Mexico, sister and brother in law Linda and Don Carr, sister Nancy Wells and grandchildren, Joshua Anderson, Jason Anderson, Jordan Anderson, Channing Stott, Sharif El-Meligi and Charish Stott, Norman will be profoundly missed by his children, grandchildren and friends Fred Cordova, Bruce Hansen , Brian and Nicolette Brunette , Darrel Black and all of his friends and neighbors in Casper who shared in his life. Services were held at Mount Hope Lutheran Church on December 8, 2011.
