NORMA JANE HARRIS
Funeral Services for Norma "Noni" Harris will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday November 4,
2006, at the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 3931 West 45th in Wolf Creek.
Norma passed away on October 28, 2006 at Central Wyoming Hospice in Casper after a 19 year battle with cancer.
Norma was born January 27, 1948, in Independence, Missouri, to Charles and Virginia Harris. They moved to Wyoming in 1952. Norma was educated in Casper and graduated from NCHS in 1966. She went on to Casper College getting her associates degree in nursing in 1972. She then earned her Bachelor of Science degree in 1977, and finally her Masters Degree in 1995. During this time she was a nurse in Casper, Denver, and then Las Vegas before returning to Casper where she was a nursing instructor at Casper College for many years before retiring.
Norma loved music, traveling to Jackson and Hawaii, and cruised many times with family and friends in the Caribbean. She loved stamping, visiting with friends, and loved her cats.
She is survived by her three cousins; June Anderson of Casper, Kenneth Harris of Casper, and Gary Harris of Sandy, Oregon, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents who were both WWII veterans.
