Nina Lula Stark

Nina Lula Stark, age 85, of Casper, passed away June 24, 2019 at Central Wyoming Hospice. Nina was born May 31, 1934 in Davis City, Iowa to Frend and Ethel (Johnson) Horney. Nina graduated from Decatur County High School in Leon, Iowa. She married Don "Sandy" Stark on September 8, 1954 in Leon, Iowa. She was a homemaker for the majority of her life caring for her family and worked part-time as a cook in restaurants. Nina enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, and solving jigsaw and word puzzles.

Nina was preceded in death by her loving husband of 39 years, Sandy Stark, son, Keith Stark, her parents, mother and father-in-law, John and Esther Stark, brother, Joe (Twyla) Horney, brother-in-law, Paul Eastin, sister, Betty, and numerous brother and sister-in-laws. She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Turner and Carol (Roger) Wortman, sons, Kevin Stark and Darin Stark, grandchildren, Liz (Dale) Thompson, Mike Feeback, Jason (Andrea) Wortman, Ryan Wortman, and Janel Wortman, Great-Grandchildren, Derek Andre, Haley Thompson, Kaitlin Thompson, and Kristen Feeback, sister, Evelyn Eastin, sister-in-law, Lois Stark, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Graveside Service will be held on July 13, 2019 at 10:00 am at Westerville Cemetery in Grand River, Iowa. A reception will be held following the service at Parkview Apartment, 401 South East Q Street, Leon, Iowa.

Memorial contributions may be made to a hospice facility of the donor's choice in Nina's memory.
