Neva was born to Thomas and Belle Smith in Sedalia, Missouri on Aug. 3, 1916. She and her first husband, William Ahlbom, moved to Casper in the mid 1950's.
She worked for several prominent Casper residents, Helen & Tom Tomkins, Regina Warner, The Bob Roses, Dr. Robert & Winnie Fowler (caring for her mother). After Mrs. Fowler's mother passed, Neva worked in the Skyline Towers doing odd jobs for the residents there.
Neva & Frank were married on June 14, 1975 and have enjoyed each others company for over 35 years.
She was moved to the Hospice Care Unit from the hospital, with pneumonia where she miraculously recovered. She was diagnosed to have Alzheimer's disease and her husband couldn't take care of her in her home so they transported her to Poplar Living Center.
She had no children of her own and no living brothers or sisters and her parents have all passed away.
She is survived by three stepchildren, 7 step grandchildren and 8 step great grandchildren.
