CASPER -- Services for Neoma Ruth Neely, 67, will be held Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007, at p.m., graveside at Oregon Trail Veteran's Cemetery with Chaplain Leigh Earle officiating.
She died peacefully at home Nov. 6, 2007, after a courageous battle with cancer. She moved to Casper in May to be close to family.
She was born Nov. 11, 1939 in Shafter, Calif., to Louis and Geraldine Jarrard.
She met and married her husband of 48 years, Wayne V. Neely, in May 1959.
He was a Navy Seabee and they traveled with the service most of their lives.
She enjoyed family, camping, garage sales, and good movies.
Survivors include her son, David W. Neely and wife of Arkansas; two daughters, Julie A Willoughby and husband of Casper and Theresa L. Neely of Minnesota; several brothers and sisters-in-law, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband June 2, 2007; her sister, Celeste Disney; her three brothers, Donald and Richard Abbott, David L. Jarrard and parents.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice Home, 319 S Wilson, Casper, 82601.
Newcomer Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
