Naomi Fern Tubbs, longtime resident of Casper, Wyoming, went home to be with her Savior on July 6, 2012.
She was born May 19, 1919, to Hallie W. and Marie Louise DeWittie in DeQueen, Arkansas. She attended Davis college in Johnson City New York were she met Roy L. Tubbs. They were married on September 19, 1943 in Topeka, Kansas. They had four children. She was a faithful pastor's wife, serving beside her husband Roy until he passed away in 2006. They moved to Casper in 1984.
Fern is survived by her brother Dale DeWitte of Barstow, California; her children Dr. Raymond Tubbs of Cleveland, Ohio; Steven Tubbs and Eileen Taylor of Casper, Wyoming; 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren with one on the way.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy, two brothers H.W. DeWittie, and son Phillip Tubbs.
Funeral service will be 2 PM Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home. Burial will be in Wyoming Memorial Garden Cemetery.
