Life History:
Nancy received her schooling in Casper. As a teenager she was one of the youngest ever to study classical voice at Casper College. She was also very active as a tap dancer and acrobatics.
She married Randolp Harrison on November 8, 1959. To this union was born four children. After their divorce, Nancy raised her 4 children by herself working at several jobs. Her last job was with the Wyoming Medical Center in the Nutrition Department. She was with them for 14 years until her health forced her to retire.
She married Gene Kalanui on October 7, 1983. Gene died on June 6, 1999.
Nancy was a happy person who loved people. She loved dancing, playing the slots, fishing, camping, traveling, and being with her family. She and her husband Gene, raised her grandson Kory Harrison from age 12 until he went into the Navy. He is now serving in Iraq She was dedicated to the BPO Does and filled many chairs and committees. She was a 5 year treasurer and served two terms as president and attended many National Conventions. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, Eagles, Ladies of the Oriental Shrine and the VFW.
