Murielene Grosso, 89, beloved mother, aunt, grandma, and friend passed away peacefully on December 01, 2019 in Casper, Wyoming. She was born on April 19, 1930, in Dodge City, Kansas, to Oliver Knudsen and Clara Duncan. In 1949 she married George Grosso and together they raised three daughters; Beverly, Debra, and Brenda, and one son, Darin. Murielene moved to Casper in 1959 to help her parents run the Alcova Boat Club. She was a jack of many trades and was known for her sewing skills. She and her husband together sewed many seat covers for local buses, bars, and even the planetarium. She was often blunt and to the point and she loved making people around her laugh. She was known for her clever sayings, like when you asked her, "How are you feeling?" she would reply, "With my fingers." She had a heart of gold and absolutely adored her children and grandchildren. Murielene is survived by her daughters Beverly and Brenda; son Darin; niece Johnnie Lou; granddaughters Deon, Devin, Andrea, Gabrielle, Alicia, and Lori; grandsons Nathaniel, Matthew, and Kelsey; and great-grandchildren Charlotte, Clara, Victoria, Mikey, Audrey, and Hendrix. Funeral services will be publicly held at the Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday, December 11th at 2:00 p.m. As for what Grandma would probably say to all of this: "well whoop-de-doo."
