CASPER -- Funeral services for Jean Bradsher, 80, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home with Chaplain Martin Skogen of Shepherd of the Valley Care Center officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery.
She died on August 17, 2008, at the Wyoming Medical Center, after a long illness.
She was born on May 14, 1928, in Sheridan, to Harley and Mable ( Fetter) Woolston. She married Harry Bradsher on Sept. 30, 1961.
They made their home in Casper but maintained close ties to their family and friends in Sheridan.
Upon graduation from high school, she began working at Mountain Bell and remained with them until her retirement.
She started as a telephone operator and then worked for many years as an employment supervisor for Wyoming.
She will be remembered for her warmth and enthusiasm, her love of travel, her deep and enduring friendships and her love of animals.
She is survived by her nephews, niece, great-nephews, great-nieces and many devoted friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Bradsher; parents; and brother, William H Woolston.
In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the Casper Humane Society.
