CASPER -- Funeral services for Michael L. Wolford, 24, will be held Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 11 a.m., at Our Lady of Fatima Church, with Fr. Bob Fox officiating. Interment will be in Wyoming Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be Tuesday from 5-7 p.m., with a rosary following at 7 p.m.
He died July 18, 2007, in Gillette.
He was born Jan. 25, 1983, in Jacksonville, Fla., the son of Douglas Lee Wolford and Tina (Reynolds) Wolford.
He worked at Walmart in automotives. He loved life and enjoyed the outdoors and his favorite activities included jet skiing, snow-mobiling, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. He had a natural ability for mechanics and participated in Special Olympics for many years.
He loved his family and was very close to his brother, sister and nieces and nephews. He was always ready to give of himself. He loved to tease, but was very kindhearted toward all who knew him. A good listener, he was very supportive when needed.
Survivors include his parents; one brother, Christopher Bretas; one sister, Angela Wolford; seven great-aunts; one uncle; seven great uncles; four nieces; and two nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his great-grandparents and two uncles.
Memorials may be made to Special Olympics Wyoming, 735 English Drive, Casper.
