Michael Ray Vick, Sr., 55, of Casper, passed away Oct. 1, 2010 at Wyoming Medical Center. He was born Jan. 6, 1955 in Torrington, WY, the son of Raymond and Wanda Clevenger Vick. He attended Casper College receiving an Associates Degree in Computer Science and Refrigeration. He w as united in marriage to Floryda Sara Dimas May 28, 1973 in Torrington, WY and she preceded him in death 2008. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served in the National Guard. He was a substitute teacher in the Casper School System. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, The Knights of Columbus and the VFW Post 991. He always provided for his family and did many things for others, not expecting anything in return.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Leaman (Vick Jr.)and his wife Amanda Leaman of Casper, Alfonzo Vick and his wife Amanda Vick of Lubbock, TX, a daughter, Vitoria Carmela Deitchler and her husband Don of Bar Nunn, WY, his mother, Wanda Greenfield, 5 grandchildren, Zoie Faye Leaman, Elliott Rex, Leaman, Septiva, Gema and Isabelle Vick, two brothers, Walter and Ron Vick, a sister, Autumn Vick and his family at The VFW Post 991, The Knights of Columbus and Woodworkers Supply. He was preceded by his father.
Memorial services will be Oct. 20, 2010, 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Father Kevin Koch as celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to The VFW Post 991 or The Knights of Columbus. Newcomer Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
