Michael David Bellefeuille

Michael David Bellefeuille was born August 1, 1960 in Albany, New York, the third child born to Paul and Alberta Bellefeuille. Michael had two older and two younger siblings. He dropped out of school before completing the ninth grade to help provide for himself and his family.
Starting in his early 20's, Mike spent the next 20 years traveling most of the 48 states. During this time Mike met a fellow traveler and his son, who he traveled with until their journey brought them to Casper. Mike found employment and lodging in Casper, along with an invitation to church. Shortly after, Mike accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior, and was baptized into Christ.
The church family became Mike's new family, with several especially close friendships. Mike assumed several responsibilities with his church, and made himself available to do anything he could for the church family. He mowed lawns, pulled weeds, shoveled walks and driveways, moved furniture and appliances, or anything else his church family needed. Mike befriended a number of service employees around town as well, many of whom will testify that Mike intervened in what were potential confrontations by customers where he gently reminded them of proper respect, manners and courtesy.
Mike made friends easily with his quick and easy laugh, and shared his faith enthusiastically. In his free time, he loved riding his bicycle and learned most of the trails in and around Casper.
After 51 years of smoking, Mike quit, cold turkey, in 2022, but was recently diagnosed with an advanced stage of cancer. Mike said "Please tell all my friends I love them, and if they are smokers, don't be stupid. Quit now, don't put your family and friends through what I'm going through."
Mike left this earth to be with the Lord, quietly and at peace, on June 28, 2023. While we don't know what of his biological family may survive him, he is survived by many brothers and sisters in Christ, as well as many other friends on this earth. Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew him well!

CELEBRATION OF LIFE
A Celebration of Life service will be conducted for Michael Bellefeuille at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at B.A.S.I.C. Fellowship Christian Church, 719 East 3rd Street, Evansville, Wyoming (one block west of Evansville Town Hall). Lunch will be available following the service.
