Megan Celeste Dahill passed away on January 29, 2015 at the age of 28, in Stowe, Vermont. Megan was born on October 16, 1986, to Andrew and Elinor Dahill, in Casper WY.
As a young girl Megan was an avid learner who especially enjoyed Artistic and Literary pursuits. Music also brought her great joy. Megan graduated from Natrona County High School in 2004. Shortly after she followed her brother to Jackson, WY, cultivating her interest in snowboarding and outdoor activities. Megan worked at the Teton County Library where she shared her love of reading with all. She also worked as a gardener and other jobs in the service industry.
In 2013 Megan moved briefly to Long Island, NY with her partner Reginald Cuizon. That autumn Megan achieved a personal goal of hers, by settling in the mountain town of Stowe, Vermont. There she found a job at the Stowe Mountain Lodge, where she excelled at a variety of positions and was highly praised. During that time Megan pursued her true passions of exploration, the outdoors, books, art, music and most importantly, self improvement. All the while she planned for the future, and her ultimate goals of traveling the world and having a family of her own. Megan touched the lives of all who crossed her path; strangers, co-workers, friends and family alike.
Megan is survived by her parents, brother Aaron, sisters Sarah and Andrea, her partner Reginald and grandmother Karen Dahill. She has a nephew, Connor, as well as 24 Aunts and Uncles, and 30 cousins. We are all proud of the person she was. Megan will be forever remembered, loved, and greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the charity of your choice in Megan's name. A book will be provided at the funeral for guests to share their favorite memories of Megan.
