Mary Frances Lammers, 84, passed away on 11/21/18 under the endearing care of Central Wyoming Hospice. She was born on 2/24/34 in Greybull, Wyoming to Eugene and Ada Dobbins. She had one sibling, Gene Dobbins, whom she adored. Although she came from a small family, she co-created a significantly large family. She was married to Herb Cheshire, and together they generated Ron Cheshire and Don Cheshire. After the loss of her first love, who passed away while serving in the Air Force, she met and married Jerry Lammers. Together they added 5 children including Michael Lammers, Mary Pat Russell, Jeanne Holmberg, Kathy Cheldelin, and last but not least, Linda Spelts. Those 7 children produced 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Mary's children believe the timing of her passing is her clever way of gathering her family for Thanksgiving.
A rosary will be held Sunday 11/25/18 at 5:00 PM. at Newcomer Funeral Home at 710 E. 2nd St. A remembrance Catholic Mass is being held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church on 11/26/18 at 11:30 AM at 604 S. Center. St in Casper. There will be a procession to Highland Cemetery at 1541 East 4th Street for the interment directly after service. A gathering for celebration of life will follow at Casper C'mon Inn at 301 East Lathrop Road in Evansville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that her loved ones donate blood in her honor as her gift to United Blood Services, where she was employed for years in a position that required her to solicit donations.
