Mary-Frances LaPointe (nee Orr) was born January 1, 1922 In Paris France. Her father was Dr. Hal Nelson Orr of Sandwich Illinois and mother Eleanor Louise McAuley of Chicago, Illinois. Mary-Frances studied in both England and Paris, studied art at the Sorbonne, then finished her bachelors at DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois. Before World War II Mary-Frances worked as a proof reader at the Chicago Tribune. Later she worked as a copy writer for Ann Landers at the Sun Times Daily News. After she moved to Casper Wyoming, she became the office manager of Watertown Monument Works.
Mary-Frances married her soul mate, Ray LaPointe of Casper. She will be greatly missed by Ray, her 3 girls Helen-Ann, Jeannie, and Jacki, her 7 grand children, 10 great grand children, her girls across the street, Lisa and Litz, and the cat.
