Mary Elizabeth Maxon, 79, of Casper, passed away Nov. 9, 2010 at the Wyoming Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 28, 1931 in Casper, WY, the daughter of Alfred and Ruth Horstman. She was a long time member of the Mount Hope Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Karen Throp and her husband Don of Reno, NV, Barbara Bassett and her husband Greg of Aurora, CO, a son, Pete Rachou of Casper, WY, six grandchildren, Robert, David, Chris, Laura, Sarah, Simon and five great-grandchildren, one sister, Marjorie Clements of Elmwood, NE, and one brother Robert Horstman of Pagosa Springs, CO.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, 2:00 PM at Mount Hope Lutheran Church with Pastor John Hill officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice Home. Arrangements under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.
