MARY ANNE WILSON-PEARSON
Mary Anne Wilson-Pearson, a resident of Poplar Living Center, passed away February 1, 2006 after a long illness. Her funeral will be at the Highland Park Community Church at 1:00 pm Friday, February 10, 2006, and a memorial prayer service will be Sunday, February 12, 2006 at 9:15 a.m. at St. Marks Episcopal Church
Mary Anne is survived by her son Larry Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, two grand children and three great grandchildren also of Cedar Rapids.
Mary Anne Mann was borne on July 16, 1918 in Wymore, Nebraska, the daughter of Thomas and Girtrude (Lawrence) Mann. She graduated from Natrona County High School in 1936. Upon graduation, she worked as a bookkeeper for a local feed company in Casper. She married James J Wilson on March 28, 1940 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Mary Anne was a member of PEO and Women's Club in Casper. She was an accomplished pianist and freely dedicated her talent to providing background music for numerous functions in the Casper area for over 30 years. Many local residents will remember her for the professional touch she exhibited on the piano while performing here in town.
