Life History: Graduated in 1943 from Argonne High School in Argonne, South Dakota. Worked the family farm until 1946.

He then joined the Army, served in Alaska until Honorable Discharge in November 1947

Married Gladys Elkhe in Epiphany, S.D. on December 29 1949. They were married for 25 years until their divorce. Lived in Canova S.D. 4 years then moved to Lead S.D. where he worked at the Homestake Gold Mine. After a near fatal mining accident the family decided to move to Casper, WY in 1956 where he worked the Brooks Ranch Oil Field. He then entered the trucking Industry working for Consolidated Freightways ,moved to Salt Creek Freightways until 1981 during which time he married Donna Lincoln and was married for another 25 years

Ran his own trucking Business until going to work for Texaco in the oilfields until his retirement in the late 1980s.

Hobbies: Enjoyed collecting almost anything from old lanterns, rifles, fishing equipment, Texaco trucks and different model cars.

Loved playing cribbage, pool, and ping pong, watching Colorado Rockies baseball and playing poker with friends and family and he loved his dogs, Pookie and Denny.
