Mark B. Christensen, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 3rd, 2011 at Wyoming Medical Center in Casper, WY.
Mark was born in Lusk, Wyoming. He graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 1974 and was employed at Andranko Petroleum Company for 34 years until his time of death.
Mark loved being outdoors, whether is was fishing, hunting, camping, or home on the ranch, riding horses, working on the cabin in Dubois, or in his garage with his Dodge Superbee. He valued every single person he met, and always took a genuine interest in them. His generosity extended beyond his immediate family, opening his heart and home to his daughter's many friends who needed a place to stay.
Mark is survived by; Twyla, his wife of 22 years; their beautiful daughter, Chynna Michelle; younger brother, Scott; and stepson, Ross Derowitsch. As well; as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and his very special friend, Thomas Mills, whom he loved deeply.
He is preceded in death by; his parents, Fred and Jesse Christensen; and brother, Steve.
He will be dearly missed by family and friends. Our family thanks everyone who prayed for us, sent cards, flowers, and gifts to console us during our time of grief.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal services will be held. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Newcomer Funeral Home.
