February 6, 1958 — June 30, 2023

Marilyn K. Anderson was born on February 6, 1958, to Dossie E. and Edith L. Shippert. Marilyn passed away on June 30, 2023.

Marilyn was raised in Midwest, Wyoming and attended Midwest Schools from K-12 graduating in May 1976. During her high school years, Marilyn enjoyed playing the Alto Saxophone, and she was a member of the Midwest Oilers Varsity Band, Marching Band. She was also a member of the Oilers Jazz Band which recorded a record album. She was a member of the F.S.A. Club and she also worked after school as a custodian for Natrona County School District. Marilyn had a beautiful voice and would often sing and play her Saxophone for her family and friends at the Edgerton First Baptist Church.

After graduating from high school, Marilyn moved to Casper where she worked at First American Title Guaranty and attended Casper College. Marilyn left her job in 1983 when she married her husband Warren Anderson on January 22, 1983, so that she could be a homemaker. She would later hold jobs at Big Wyoming Buick Cadillac Oldsmobile and Natrona County Senior Center.

Marilyn enjoyed camping, gardening, and canning, and being a homemaker. She is best remembered for her bright smile and bubbly personality. She will be missed, but she will never be truly gone because she will remain in our hearts, memories and stories shared by those who loved her.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband Warren Anderson, her parents Dossie E. and Edith L. Shippert, her Paternal and Maternal Grandparents, her sister Rita Jeanette Shippert, her brother Bruce Shippert, and beloved Uncles, Aunts and Cousins.
