Marguerite Moore passed away peacefully on April 1, 2017 at Life Care Center in Casper, Wyoming from natural causes.

Marguerite was born February 6, 1924 to John L. and Agnes A. (Hammer) Spaulding in Casper, Wyoming. She attended Natrona County High School and graduated in the class of 1940. She then went on to get her nursing degree at the Seton School of Nursing in Colorado Springs, CO. She came back to Casper and worked at Memorial Hospital for a short time and then for doctors Stuckenhoff, Gooder, Fitzgerald, Haigler and Reasoner as a registered nurse until retiring at the age of 72.

She married Robert F. Auflick on September 2, 1946 and from this union, five children were born. They later divorced. On June 24, 1961 she married J. Allen Moore.

Marguerite loved nursing and all of her patients. She also loved animals and her garden.

She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, brothers, Lt. Jack A. Spaulding and Charles (Chuck) Spaulding and her daughter Patti Auflick Padua.

She is survived by her sons Jack Auflick of Michigan, Ron (Eileen) Auflick of Casper, Bob (Jan) Auflick of Casper, and Mike Auflick of Saudi Arabia. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Austin, Derek, Rose and Katie of Texas, Andrew of Arizona, Robby of California, and Eric of Nevada and three great grandchildren of Texas. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Mary Moore of Montana.

The family will conduct a private family service. A memorial is being planned for late summer.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Casper Humane Society.
