"Marcie's Story"
Marcie began married life as a young woman of a mere 16 years of age and having 5 children, made her a remarkably busy mom. Marcie was an amazing cook and could make what she cooked almost too pretty to eat. She had an incredible talent for sewing and often made clothes for her children and grandchildren. She was a talented crafter and enjoyed making cross stitching baby blankets. Blankets that are still treasured today. Although Marcie's first marriage did not work out, she later met the love of her life, Woody Frailey. Woody added the fun into her life again. The vision of him putting her in a shopping cart and pushing her down the aisle of the grocery store still brings a smile to all who witnessed it. Woody, being a barber, happened to have an extra barber chair. Being a highly creative person, he decided to bolt the chair in the back of the pickup truck. This was just to make his Marcie happy, who had recently taken up shooting gophers. You see; this chair enabled Marcie to easily swing from the left to the right as they drove down the gopher infested prairie. The vision of Marcie sitting in a barber chair shooting gophers while swinging this way and that positively brought tears of laughter to everyone's face! Woody, being a cowboy, also introduced Marcie to horseback riding. She enjoyed riding her horse, which was appropriately named "Lady Littlebit". Marcie and Woody also opened a horse boarding stable in Helena Montana called, "Blue Haven Stables" , which was just one of the many ventures Woody and Marcie undertook. Marcie was 40 when she met the other love of her life, Jesus. Her bible, church, and prayer life were especially important to her. She was an amazing prayer warrior who prayed frequently for friends and family. Marcie read her bible daily and practiced what she read. She loved her church and her church family. She was generous, and kind, full of fun, had a great sense of humor, and a ready smile. Everyone who met Marcie loved her. She was sunshine and warmth. She loved well and was well loved by everyone who knew her. The world will be dimmer without our Marcie, but heaven is so much brighter with her there! We forever hold her love in our hearts. The cherished memories of our time together are stored in each of our memory banks. We know she is now totally free; no more pain, no more sadness, giggling happily in the arms of Jesus. We will miss you but we know, we will see you again someday.
Marcie leaves behind her sister Janice Daberkow, her daughters; Christine McMaster, Lorraine (Charles) Luckenbill, Amy (Robert) Horgus, and Connie (David) Henderson. Marcie also leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many others who loved her and called her "Grandma".
