Madeline Marie Tice

Madeline Tice, 83, enjoyed cooking, dancing and family.

Madeline died peacefully in the Kloefkorn Hospice Home in Casper on May 19, 2018 with many of her family members by her side. There will be a Visitation for family and friends on May 24th from 5 pm until the Recital of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Casper Chapel. Services have been scheduled for Madeline at 10:30 a.m. May 29, 2018 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Casper, WY. There will be a reception to follow, with a Committal Service at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery at 1:30pm.

Born On December 9, 1934 in Manhattan New York, to Sam and Lucy Dilluvio, Madeline grew up in Manhattan. Her parents emigrated from Borgetto, Italy. She met George Tice, also from New York, and it was love at first sight, they were married 6 months later on August 29, 1959 in Manhattan. Both Madeline and George were ready for a lifestyle change and moved from New York to Jackson Hole in 1966. Together they had four children who were grateful to be raised in Jackson. In 1990, they moved to Casper, Wyoming to be near two of their children.

Throughout the years, Madeline enjoyed working for retail stores in downtown Jackson. Madeline enjoyed gardening, the beauty and colors of flowers that matched her very creative spirit. She spent many evenings dancing in the Wort with George as well as participating in the local theatres. They gained notoriety for their dancing skills and began giving dancing lessons.

Madeline also loved to cook Italian dishes. Many of her children's friends found a way to arrive around dinner time. Her famous recipes have been passed along to her children and grandchildren.

Madeline is survived by her husband George of 58 years, her sons Christopher (Carmel) of Jackson, WY, Sean (Emmy) of Flagstaff, AZ , daughters Katrina (Chris Lorenzen) of Casper, WY, Tracy Tice of Maui, HI, grandchildren Amy Tice of Bend, OR, Logan Feezer of Cheyenne, WY, and Makenna and Katie of Casper, WY.
