Loreen J. Van Heule, 83 of Casper, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Life Care Center of Casper in Casper, WY. She was born January 28, 1932 in Highland Park, IL to Thomas and Ruth (Borton) Thompson. She met and married her husband John James Van Heule, Sr. on May 12, 1951 in Evanston, IL. They resided in suburban Minneapolis, Red Lodge, MT, Powell, WY, Worland, WY, Newcastle, WY, and settled in Casper, WY. Loreen enjoyed camping and spending time with her friends and family. She is survived by her husband, John; children, John (Jeanne) Jr., Michael (Joy), Richard (Kate); Joanne (Tim) Hunter, Kathy (Dwain) Romsa, and Susan (Harold) Babbitt; 17 grandchildren, Charles Van Heule, Timothy Van Heule, Mary Thieken, Susie Wichert, Britton Van Heule, Tyler Van Heule, Anne Ivie, James Van Heule, Benjamin Van Heule, Marissa Hunter, Christopher Hunter, Zachary Romsa, Hannah Romsa, Caleb Romsa, Seth Romsa, Don Babbitt and Parker Babbitt; and 9 great grandchildren, Jackson and Brooks Van Heule, Emma Grace Wichert, Kallie J. and Erich I. Van Heule, Leah Clair Hunter, Taylor and Karsyn Ivie, Donnie Babbitt. She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, John Thompson.
A Recitation of the Rosary will be held 6:00 PM, Sunday, April 12, 2015, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will be 10:00 AM, Monday, April 13, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Wyoming Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donation be made to the Casper Humane Society in Loreen's Name.
