Lois Weber, 74, passed away February 2, 2013 at Mountain View Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Deep River Iowa on a family farm August 18, 1938. She was the youngest of five born to Mabel and Cleo Holdsworth. Her family settled in Wheatland Wyoming where she graduated from high school and met and married the love of her life Newton Weber to whom she was married to over 55 years.
She and her husband Newton were members of the Mills Volunteer Fire Department for 37 years.
They loved showing their antique cars and are members of the Oil Capitol Car Club. Lois volunteered with Mended Hearts to share her experience with others. They loved to dance and were members of the Elks club, Shrine Club and Eagles. Her and Newt delivered Meals on Wheels. They own Westridge Shoe Repair and L and N Works.
Lois is survived by her husband Newt and her children, JoLynne Slivyak of Stayton Oregon, Ginger Fleming and Lori Klatt, of Casper Wyoming. She had 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was a beloved Aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are her parents, her older brother, Bob and her sister Dorothy. Also surviving her are sister Helen Lundberg of Montana and sister Ruth Logan and brother in law, John Rust of Colorado.
A Funeral service will be held Friday, February 8th at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church with a viewing to take place Thursday evening at 7:30pm at Newcomer Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Wyoming Hospice. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the "angels" at Mountain View Regional Hospital, who lovingly
watched over them and Lois over the last week.
