Linda Lewis (Brown) Villar was born in Lusk, Wyoming on January 8, 1947, to Henry Wilton Lewis and Winifred Allyne (Manring) Loder. Stepfather: Harold Samuel Loder (deceased). Linda has four siblings and was the second oldest from blended families. One and only younger brother preceded her in death, Gary Corwin Lewis. Two sisters are still among the living, Anita Kay Crane who she was especially close with and Karen Willis currently living in Casper, Wyoming, and Katherine Lewis (Wales) estranged living in the East.
One of Lindas biggest joys was making art, crocheting, and playing her flute being a stay-at-home spouse, working on and off out of the home and in the home by helping with business calls and running errands. Linda had various jobs but was always thinking of ways others could increase, not promoting herself. Linda enjoyed family and friends, was very witty always kidding around and making jokes. Linda was also quite intelligent and even when her health was failing remembered key items in her life and always had something relevant to say about people around her.Linda loved animals and pets in her lifetime. The latter animal friends were Bella the cat, Tasha the dog and Freddie the freeloader, also her angel at assisted living.
Her great curiosity was abounding in all areas and her passion. Linda married Jim Brown and they had a blended family including three children; Russel and Christina Brown (spouse) who live in Allyn, Washington State); Children; Kaitlyn, Ian, Jordon, Noah and Hannah and 4 grandchildren; Annie, Caleb and Theo. Linda and Jim suffered the loss of Amy Brown when she was very young (deceased).
Linda was divorced from Jim, married Chuck Villar, moved to Mammoth Lakes California, and had a son Jason Villar and Shawna Villar (spouse) who currently live in Bishop California, Children: Chance Villar, and Tucker Villar.
Chuck had a daughter prior to marrying Linda who was Shelly Villar Keihn and Chad Keihn (spouse) who currently live in Chalen, Washington State, children: Kelsey (Keihn) Nelson, Allyssa Keihn, and Hailey Keihn.
Linda went to be with the Lord after a lengthy battle with illness.
She lived later in life close to her sister(s) Anita Lewis (Capshaw) Crane (caregiver). Children: Tom Capshaw currently living in Roundup Montana and Ace Capshaw living in Casper Wyoming. Karen Ida (Sexton) Willis, Children: Bob Willis and Karen (Sis) Willis living in Casper, Wyoming. Linda had aunts and uncles (all deceased) and cousins first, second and third removed, in Riverton Wyoming, Kaycee, Wyoming and Ten Sleep, Wyoming. Linda will be missed; in her later years she enjoyed visiting and talking about children and grandchildren. She could no longer do the projects she loved to do because of poor eyesight so she busied herself with social activities at Mountain Plaza Assisted Living in Casper, Wyoming where all loved and appreciated her wit very much.
Linda passed on April 1 , 2024, at seventy-seven years and requested cremation, no services planned currently, memorial services to take place with family later in California/Washington and Wyoming.
