Linda Lou (Gardner) Johnson was born September 12, 1940 in Sheridan, Wyoming to William and Jewell Gardner. Linda grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Glenrock High School in 1958. She spent many years working for the Mountain Bell phone Company. After retiring from the phone company, she started a career in banking. In 2003, she was able to retire a second time when she married a childhood friend, Milton Johnson. She and her husband volunteered for Meals on Wheels, Red Cross, Retired Senior Volunteer Programs, and Wyoming Medical Center. They enjoyed traveling, golfing, gardening, and snowmobiling, amongst many other pursuits. Her friends and family will always remember her as being very loving, caring, and fun to be with. In 2003, the couple started "snow-birding" in Arizona during the winter months. Linda was known to be quite a shuffle boarder, and even clog danced on occasion. Sadly, this season in her life ended August 31st, 2011. She will be greatly missed by all left behind, and welcomed by those who have gone before. Se is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, William "Billy" Gardner Jr., and son, Bart Beck. She leaves behind her loving husband, sisters Nancy Miles (Paul Rosa) and Suzanna Thomas, daughters Pam Ullyett (Shaun), Gina Beck, Shannon Johnson (Mike), and Kelli Miller (Dale), daughter-in-law Diane Beck, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. MEMORIAL SERVICES: will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 6th at Highland Park Community Church in Casper. A graveside service will be held at Sheridan Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7th.
