Linda Sue Daniels

May 20, 1950 — April 20, 2021

Linda Sue Daniels (Shipper) was born to Bud and Betty Shipper on May 20th, 1950 in Casper, Wyoming.

Linda was a wonderful, loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, daughter, sister, grandma, great-grandma, nana, aunt, and friend.

She was a feisty lady with a heart of gold. Anyone that ever knew Linda will have the great visual of her sitting at the kitchen table, putting her rollers in her hair.

Linda married the love of her life, Bill Daniels, on June 6, 1981, and together they raised five boys: Doug, Scott, Rick, David, and Justin. Linda's boys were her life and anyone that messed with them would have to deal with her. She was the Momma Bear, as they would say, and they were and always will be her cubs.

Linda's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. She loved family barbecues, holidays, dinners, camping trips, trips to Deadwood and Las Vegas, and traveling to new places with Bill!

Linda was one of the best cooks in Casper. She was known for her enchiladas, her cinnamon rolls, her dinner rolls, and, of course, many other things. If you went to her house to eat and you left hungry, it was your own fault, as she cooked enough for an army on both sides!

Linda was also a craft queen and could make almost anything. She crocheted a blanket for every one of her grandchildren and recently a great-granddaughter.

Linda also really enjoyed ceramics. She loved to paint and personalize each piece for each family member. She painted everything: eagles, Indians, angels, dragons, wildlife, puppies, plaques, you name it; if it was something you collected, she could paint it. Linda shared this gift of her craftiness with her grandchildren and would help them to make special gifts at special times. Linda put so much love into everything she did. Highlight of her crafting was when she won Grand Champion with her eagle at State Fair.

Then there was Halloween. Oh, how she loved Halloween. She loved the kids in their costumes and loves making the "special" Halloween bags that were every kids' dream and every dentist's nightmare! They were so full that the kids really didn't need to go anywhere else to trick-or-treat.

So, there you have this beautiful lady in a nutshell. Barbecues, family dinners, trips, gambling, rolls, enchiladas, cinnamon rolls, rollers in her hair, crafts, and Halloween. NONE of these things will ever be the same without you!

So, Mom, every time we are all together, we will drink a Corona for you! With a little salt, of course, minus the cap. We love you and miss you already. This isn't goodbye, it is see you later, until we meet again.

Linda is survived by her husband, Bill; her children: Scott (Linda), David (Shandy), Justin (Jamie); her sister, Debra (Mike); and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

She was proceeded in death by her mom and dad, Bud and Betty Shipper; her sons, Doug and Rick; and one brother, Gary Shipper.
