Lily Alberta Kittelman Hubbard passed away May 16, 2012 at Medical Center of the Rockies, Loveland, CO. Lily the daughter of Paul and Eva Kittelman, was born August 5, 1927 at Manville, Wyoming. She grew up on a dry land farm helping her mother, dad and two sisters while both her brothers served their country in World War II. She was baptized, confirmed and married in the Lutheran faith. She met Clarence while working in Lusk at the Chuck Wagon Café in 1946, between her Junior and Senior years in high school. Clarence and Lily were married June 29, 1947 at Keeline, WY. To this union two sons were born, Paul in 1948 and Kenny in 1950. While living in Lusk, Lily worked at the Trail Motel and Lusk Bakery.
Clarence and Lily moved to Casper, WY in 1969. In Casper Lily worked at Wyoming Medical Center, Bailey School Supply, La Belles, and after retirement was a crossing guard for Willard School for 6 years.
Lily was a lifetime member of VFW Post 991 Auxiliary and a member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Casper for 12 years. Clarence and Lily loved to dance and were the first ones on the dance floor at the Eagled Friday Night dances. Her hobbies were doing ceramics, painting, embroidery work, cross stitching and word seek puzzles.She loved animals, especially her little Poodle (Princess). She always had beautiful flowers in her yard and many ceramics.
Lily is survived by: two sons, Paul of Casper, WY and Kenny, and wife Denise, of Cheyenne, WY; one sister Clara Leeling of Scottsbluff, NE and one brother Art Kittelman of Brush, CO; four grandchildren, and spouses; Lacy Cattelan, Lonna Harvard, Eloise Belving, and Matt Hubbard. She also had 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Lily was preceded in death by her husband Clarence, her parents Paul and Eva Kittelman of Torrington, WY; a brother Alvin Kittelman of Great Falls, MT; a sister, Mildred Bringham of Manville, WY; and daughter-in-law Rita Hubbard of Casper, WY.
At her request no services are planned. Cremation has taken place and she will join her husband Clarence, who passed away November 16, 2004, after having 57 happy years together. Inurnment will be at Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery where both will be laid to rest. Memorials may be made in Lily's name directly to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, 201 E. 2nd St., # 27, Casper, WY 82601.
