CASPER -- Memorial Mass for Margaret "Leslie" Mohr, 76, will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 27, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Casper with Father August Koeune officiating.
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
Interment will be in Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville.
She died Nov. 22, 2007, at Wyoming Medical Center.
She was born June 27, 1931, in Washington Township, Iowa, to Clarence James Hart and Stella Evelyn Upchurch.
She began a teaching career in 1950 in Fairfield, Iowa, and received her master's degree from the University of Iowa.
In January 1960 she met Ken Mohr, and they married in December 1960. The family moved to Glenrock in 1978.
She continued her teaching at Glenrock High School and at Casper College, teaching for a total of 57 years.
She devoted her life to her family and to the love of teaching. In her later years she enjoyed traveling to her grandchildren's sporting events and visiting her siblings.
Her hobbies included reading, gardening and home improvement projects.
Survivors include four daughters, Margaret Stevens and Jane Mohr, both of Rogers, Ark., Carmen Wilkins of Gillette and Carol Giese of Casper; two brothers, James Hart of Alpena, Mich., and Cullen Hart of Surprise, Ariz.; a sister, Caroline Robinson of Sibley, Iowa; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Ken Mohr.
Memorials may be made to the Casper College Scholarship Fund.
