LeRoy Clifton Humiston passed away peacefully January 28, 2013 in Casper, Wyoming of Alzheimer's at the Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions.
LeRoy was born on April 7, 1932 in Fromberg, Montana to Walter and Mabel Humiston. LeRoy served in the Korean War, where he was awarded a bronze service star. After serving in the military, LeRoy met and married Helen Ann Senn. They were married on December 1, 1956 in Bridger, Montana. LeRoy and Helen made their home in Casper, Wyoming where LeRoy worked for the Lucky Mac Uranium and Pathfinder Mines. LeRoy lived a full and happy life and enjoyed the time he spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren
LeRoy leaves behind his devoted and loving wife of 56 years, Helen, children Bob (Darla), Debbie, Cheryl (Greg) Barr, eight grandchildren; Leroy (Megan) Humiston, Jennifer (Jake) Berg, Charles (Jenny) Liston, Chris Liston (Lyndi Graves), Kim Humiston (Cody Clark), Bryant Humiston, Jarrett Barr, Braden Barr, five great-grandchildren; Devon Brown, Shiann Liston, Lane Liston, Brayleigh Clark and Aria Humiston, brother Bill Humiston, sister Ann Wilm, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Sonny and sister-in-law Joan Humiston.
Funeral services will be Friday, February 1, 2013, viewing from 9:00 to 10:00 AM and Services at 10:00 at the Smith Funeral Home in Laurel, Montana with burial to follow at the Rockville Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations be made to Central Wyoming Hospice and Transitions in honor of LeRoy.
