Leona Mae Trionfo, age 58, of Casper, passed away December 20, 2017 at Elkhorn Rehabilitation Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Leona was born April 25, 1959 in Omaha, Nebraska to Leo and Patricia (Gunzenhauser) Cook. Leona met the love of her life, Salvatore "Pat" Trionfo, in 1974 and soon after got married. To begin their family, two daughters, Patricia and Katherine, were born. Through Patricia and Katherine, Leona and Pat have seven granddaughters, one grandson, and one great-grandson. She dedicated her life to caring for her family. She loved playing bingo, eating pizza, playing cards, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and her great-grandson. She was a dog lover and enjoyed her three Pekingese dogs, but especially Shilo.
She is preceded in death by her step-father, Leroy Dacus, her mother, Patricia Dacus, and sister, Dorothy Gabriel. She is survived by her husband of 43 years of marriage, Pat Trionfo, daughters, Patricia "Trisha" Moore and Katherine Ruiz, 8 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brothers, Walter Dacus, Leo Cook Jr., sisters, Karen Buckeye, Laurie Stoops, and Kathy Stoops.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, December 23, 2017 for Leona Trionfo, 58 of Casper, at Newcomer Casper Chapel.
Leona's choice of eye tissue donation allowed her to pass on the gift of sight, in that spirit in lieu of flowers, family would appreciate contributions to be made to Jason's Friends Foundation, 340 W B St #101, Casper, WY 82601 in Leona's memory.
